you need 24 to 48 hours of rest for a specific muscle group, so as lond as you dont lift the same muscles on consecutive days it is ok to lift every day of the week, however if you dont give your muscles time to recover they will not build and eventually tear

the best thing to do if you want to built muscle and lose weight is to go to the gym and work out for a Least 1hr to an1hr and a half no more then that daily. Don't make it a part time job either. do that every day for 5days and week. On your eating eat 6 times a day but small portions this keeps your metabolizing working and you burn more calories. Watch what you eat. I'm not saying don't eat McDonald's I'm just saying if you are going to eat there for example a big mac it has 500 calories if you want to eat it cut it in half eat that and say the other for later eat every 3 to 4 hrs. to keep you metabolizing going. and keep working out you will see results.

youll gain a lot more if you lift one day and not the next day. Your muscles need this time to repair themselves and get bigger before you can damage them again by lifting. Try this and i guarantee youll thank me
