okay, i am getting really worried about this dry cough i have and i dont know what it is. i mainly get it around night and i get it really bad. last night i had it the worst, i have had it for about a week, what do you think it might be?

Could be
1. Acid reflux, see if it goes away with prevacid
2. Asthma, talk to Dr.
3. Allergies, get rid of feathers near bed, take benadryl
4. Serious medical condition, talk to Dr.

Well there is only one thing to do in this case, and that is to go and get a chest X-ray. I do not want to alarm you but you need to rule out lung cancer as this is one of its symptoms. More than likely it is not cancer but something simpler but you need to find out.
