Boredom, like anger or frustration, is not an emotion. It cannot be measured at any universal scale. It is a state of mental disarray caused by total intellectual or emotional disengagement. This is not a natural state for our mind to be in. It is like a gap that you can fill. But it is not like any other emotion that you can channel into something of you deliberate choosing. In a general, sense however, you are as bored, as you are inactive or free to feel bored. If for example you have a high octane mind that has capacity to work fast than you are more likely to feel bored at places where other people find themselves enthusiastically involved and active. Then there are personality types - not all people enjoy watching cartoons, but I do.

Well, if you're as bored as you can possibly be, life can only get more interesting (especially if your bored at work and your boss finds work for you).
