Depends. What are other ways to get points?
Rushing yards? Passing yards? Do you lose points for interceptions or fumbles?
RB's generally are best, followed by QB's then WR's.

I always take a RB in the first round especially since the rushing TDs are worth more than passing TDs. The second round is usually another RB or a QB. Peyton won't be around for the second round, but there are plenty of QBs that will put up huge numbers this year. I normally don't worry about WRs until the 4th or 5th round. The WR talent pool is much deeper than that for QB or RB.

do not take manning at all trust me i have been playing fantasy football for a long time don't take a Qb in the first 3 rounds. Some looser will take him before u anyways go with a stud rb and in round 2 if u are comapring about the #12, 13, or 14th best rb against the #3 ,4,or 5th wr take the wr.

I have drafted 7th, and 9th in my two leagues. I was tempted to draft Manning each time, and my leagues offer 6 points per passing TD.
However, I'm really glad I didn't. He went 10th in both. One such owner had to settle for Portis (injured), and Ahman Green for his two starting RBs. Yuck! He speculated on some guys that could pan out. He managed to get Boldin and Santana Moss at WR, but his team is hurting.
I would go RB/WR or RB/RB with my first two picks. There were lots of QBs left in rounds 6 through 9, including Carson Palmer.
Don't be afraid to take Willie Parker as a second RB. My guess is, you'll have the chance to take a good first RB (Jordan, Williams, R. Johnson), and a top WR (Holt, Fitzgerald, Harrison), or a good second tier RB (Westbrook, Dunn, Parker).
I try to take low risk, high value picks with my first two. If Manning slides to you with your second pick, go for it. Good value there...

i would draft the top 2 running backs back to back. the first four rounds you should pick 2 rb and 2 wr then pick your qb. once you have those 5 players you should be ok. if you really want manning try picking him up with your 3rd pick. trust me if your league have seasoned fantasy players this is going to be their plan. they will pick their rb's first then wr's, qb's always comes around the 5th or 6th round. in the future always remember to draft your skill positions first (rb and wr). hope this helps.

no doubt about this one. you have to take a rb with your first two picks -- save your qb pick until later rounds--there are always good qbs available late --(warner,leftwich.kitna (sleeper) --stock up on rbs and wr's--but rbs put up the most consistent points in any fantasy league. good luck

visit this site. Manning is the first QB pick, but RB's are listed as better picks overall. I would recommend the RB and then grab the highest QB available after your first pick.

ALWAYS take the RBs 1st!!!!! QB numbers dont differ too much from 1st to 15th. However, the RBs will dry up very, very quickly.

take peyton. If he throws 5 tds, you have twenty points. Have you ever seen a running back ( besides college) run 6 tds?
