I am really sad. I didn't know Steve personally but he helped a lot of people to be closer to the animals he loved. He was a true Wildlife Warrior and educator and he will never be forgotten.
It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. Your loved one will always be close as a memory and in your heart.
With Heartfelt Sympathy to Terri, Bindi, Bob and the rest of his family and his friends
May the Croc Hunter Rest In Peace

A tribute to Stephen Robert Irwin...
The World Will Never Be The Same Without You
You have amazed us with your gentle touch,
We loved to watch you so much.
You were always so brave,
with so many lives you've saved.
It was so much fun to watch you with the kangaroo,
although sometimes we thought it was so crazy of you!
You have taught us how to love,
You have taught us how to thank Above.
You have opened our eyes,
You have changed our lives.
You have shown us the beauty of the world,
You have shown us what is more precious that gold.
You've made us laugh cause of so much fun,
But now we cry cause you are gone.
The world will never be the same without you,
our lives wont be the same too.
But the memory of you will stay in our minds,
we wont forget what you've left behind.
You are always in our hearts,
though now we are apart.
So long my friend..
May you find peace at His Side,
up there where the heaven is open and wide..
Our prayers are always with you..
along with your journey to the sky blue
So long my friend.. til we meet again..
You can read it in my blog.. The world lost a great hero! :(

Neither a Q or A. Reported. Enough material has been written here about Irwin to fill volumes! People die every day around the globe and so will you one day. Everyone will. This man was just that, a man, He was not a god and this has become OVERBLOWN! It is really time to move onto other things that are going on in the world and that affect all of us much more than this. Peace to his family, and now the book is closed. And to Justthereal Deal: Lay off the pipe, dude!

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

It is a shame that he died in front of his kid's birthday party. Now his kid's are probably traumatized for life. Now, there will be no heirs available to pass the torch. What a shame, what stupidity.

No question about it - I hope he is resting comfortably and that his family recovers with minimum anguish.
