About 3 weeks ago, there was a question posted on Answers! that was titled "who hates steve irwin with a passion apart from me??" My response to this question was "He really rattles my cage! He's a fruit loop. But being gobbled by a crocodile is way to easy - he should be bitten by a venomous snake, that healso likes winding up, and be made to watch re-runs of his awful show whilst dying a very slow and painful death" Now is his death a coincidence or is it Synchronicity? I was a little freaked when I heard the news!!

To Kittyrogers - for your information the question was posted by drum_n_bass_girl (http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aq_TmnNnzlf6LB.atxrm8QIgBgx.?qid=20060819154343AAJlhE4). There's no need to be rude - my response to the question was a random throw away comment, never in a million years did I expect such an event to occur because of what I said, but like so many people who have answered have pointed out, the nature of his job meant it was only a matter of time before something like this happened to him. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it, "luv"!

It was just a coincidence, don't let it bother you,the risk was part of his job.I'm sorry for his family. His cocky attitude irritated the hell out of me,but I wouldn't have wished this to happen, although I did say,in jest, that i wished he got gobbled up.

Everyone here who is crying like they knew the guy make me sick. This is a guy who became famous basically because of wildife voyuerism. Everytime he tempted death we watched. Is it really wrong for me to root for the animal. Can't nature ever win and sometimes beat man? Does it have to have a happy ending? I want to see his death - show the video. I'm mostly surprised he lived this long. This is a guy who flaunted Darwin's Law. You ain't the fittest anymore - Steve Irwin, RIP you big idiot.

Im sure its nothing to do with you however you have to feel for the blokes family and as someone who recently started watching Australia Zoo on ITV i think its awful that a bloke who dedicated himself to saving animals is dead when there are evil people in the world who will never suffer the way steve irwiin did!

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

This time next year, evidence will be uncovered of an international conspiracy.
The Stingray was not a fish, but a secret weapon.
Can we stop hearing about the chap now.

Why say what you did and now come back and display it.
The world has lost an icon, Australia has lost it's favourite son.
Have some compassion.
If you feel guilty now, deal with it.
Steve's death was a freak accident and if you don't care, just remember many do.
His family are in my thoughts.
RIP Steve xx

so do you Hate Micheal Jackson for holding his baby over a 3 or 4 story balcony or do you idle him..
Sure holding the baby infront of the croc may have been a bit far but he knew what he was doing or he wouldn't of dangered his kids life..
Now to mock the death of anyone that is just wrong..
He died doing his job it was no stunt set up and staged by science, and to think anything like that is just plain wrong.

You mean you feel really bad about feeling the way you do? don't worry it happens to us all. You are not a bad person you didn't kill him and you didn't mean for him to die. He lived his life to the full doing what he enjoyed with no thought to his young family.

look...when a driver drives drunk and dies in an accident....they asked for it. when a bank robber dies in a shootout trying to get away, they asked for it. when a house robber dies breaking into a house because he broke into a house that had warning labels about the house owner owning a gun, they deserved it. Look, i feel bad yes. Dale Ernhardt died racing in his car. these people died what they loved to do. do i feel sorry for them, NO! when you put yourself at risk, then you suffer the consequences sooner or later. it's only a matter of time. I feel for his family. they are the ones that have to grow up without them. i'm sorry, but when you go around harassing wildlife because of your fascination of their life is so demanding that you must disrupt their habitat, you have a repect problem. I don't wander around in gang and drug infested areas because i know better for a reason!!
