ok how would i type this into my calculator:

2.5 x 10^9 ??? Would i just put 2.5 times 10 and then the EE

and how would i put this in???

10^7 ..... would i keep the 10 or change it to one???? can you guys give me examples so i can understand thank u!

Just 2.5, then hit the EE then enter 9. WHen you hit EE, x10^ is understood. Also, when your calculator gives an answer of, say 9.8EE12, it means 9.8 x 10^12

Also to enter 10^7, it is just 1x10^7, therefore enter 1 hit EE then enter 7.

Different brands work different. Mine doesn't have 'EE'. I push '2nd function' and then '10^x'. Loose your book?

I type this way in my calculator:
2.5E10, and I don't have any problem.
