Couldn't have been a better day, maybe only if Zidane would have come out on the field to receive his well deserved acclamation, but evidently he's too much of a humble man than that.

I'm fine about it. After all, it's a qualifying match for the Euro 2008 just like any other. I'm happy for the French and sincerely congratulate them on today's victory. Of course, I would be happier if Italy did win the match, but there are plenty of other opportunities to qualify for the Euro 2008.

Its a big problem with Italien team when they play honestly (as due to not having a chance of naughty tricks and cheating) then for sure they do not win. And exactly it happened in today's match against France vs Italy 3:1. We can see it was truely very hard for Italy to beat the France. Sure not always the naughty tricks work...not atleast when they are playing against France in France ;-).

It was a good match. Of course I'm sad that Italy lost but I think today France was the better team. I'm still super proud of the Italian team.

i am a scotland fan,the result is great for us as were 5 points ahead of the italians and we play france next,so another 3 easy points for us lol.
