Yes both teams played fair thats why France won :-). And true Italy did not get a chance to play naughty tricks thats the reason France proved to be the deserved winner. Actually for many of us France was the REAL winner of world cup 2006, as real winner is the one who gets respect in eyes of public with fairly played matches.
I congratulate the France for being again the REAL winner :-)

Well done France for winning this match without Zidane.

Congratulations France. Well done. I'm bummed out we missed the match here in Oz. Great to hear the game was played in such good spirit from both teams and all the relative supporters. Yay teams.

I didn't get to see the match, but I've read the commentaries, and I agree with you. France did deserve their win, and sincere congratulations go to them. The Italians still have other opportunities to qualify for the Euro 2008 in the future.
