I'm working in the same company and the same department with my sister-in-law who just recently kicked my husband and I out of the family house. After her father passed away, she got into a fight w/ my husband and other siblings about money. She was mad and took it on me at work since then. All my co worker who knows what happened said that she's trying to get rid of me which I agree. I can't stand looking at her and wanted to quit the job but I can't afford not to have this income bc we just moved out and are trying to have a place of our own. I have bitten my tongue and are so ready to slap her face.
Pls pls if anyone has any idea how to handle this kind of situation pls let me know.

I would be polite to her at work and act professionally. In the meantime, search for another job.

How can your sister-in-law kick you and your husband out of the family house. Is it in her name or something? The best way to handle this is to talk to her. Does she have any leverage over you at work? I think you really need to talk to her or write a letter about how you feel. Since you stated that you want to slap her and you can't stand looking at her a letter may be best. But what I don't understand is why she is causing you so much issues at work. This is very unprofessional on her part. If she is doing stuff to you at work can you go to someone who is over her that can help make your life better at work. If you can, try to be the bigger individual and make peace with her. If you continue to show your frustration it will make her act even more ugly.

Good luck

Go directly to the person who is in charge of her and explain the situation. Be direct and honest and explain that harassment from any employee, sister-in-law or not, isn't going to be tolerated. Insist that the situation is resolved and that your sister-in-law is told to leave her personal business outside the company door. Be prepared for this meeting with particulars such as when it happens, how it is inappropriate and how it affects your work performance.

I would try to stick it out the best you can, but start looking for another job!! I couldn't work under that kind of pressure!

Also talk to your boss & explain your situation, maybe people will lay off you after someone does something about it!!!

Look for another job in the meanwhile & start over!

Good luck!!!

First thing you need to do is talk to your supervisor and let them know what is going on. That is harrassment and is usually not tolerated in a business situation. Hopefully, your supervisior will speak to your SIL and tell her to stop. You have witnesses to back you up also, so that should help. Ask them to write up documentation and make a copy. Give one to your supervisor and keep one for yourself.

As long as it bothers you shes winning. Try not to let her get to you the harder she trys the less you pay her any mind. Pretty soon the office will See whats going on and turn on her big time. I'll bet she will leave before you.

Report her to your supervisor. what she is doing is illegal. Contact your company's Human resources office. Perhaps you can transfer to another department.
