Question answers itself. he's not.

This is a good question. But don't jump to conclusions yet.

God had a reason to create the universe and everything else that is good. He did it because He wanted created creatures to worship Him.

As for creating the universe then destroying it later, later hasn't happen yet. It will but not now.

In my way of thinking, God could of had 3 reasons or more 1) Creation to worship,in other words, Free Will. 2)Make robots,in other words, make creation to do what God wants,or 3) Nothing. I think there might be more, but those are the 3 I can come up with.
But that is why God gave us Free Will.

I would read the Scriptures, but what matters is God loves everyone,it's the person to choose to obey or disobey God

With this you can never know for sure... but I know the bible reason... The bible says that God had so much love built up in his heart and not enough things to love, so he made the world and everything in it. As far as destroying it... I don't know what the bible says, but I think it relates to the fact that there is only so much a person (or God) can take. To me is seems like God is a strict dude and when Eve broke the first rule that was only the beginning. Next with the constant sinning before the Jesus thing, and all the stuff with Noah's flood. One thing you need to remember though is that God knew all of this was going to happen before it was ever close to happening............... I guess he just figured it was worth it. Hope I answered your question. Good Luck!!!

When God set in motion the laws of this universe they started on a particular course. According to the Second Law of thermodynamics the stars will burn out and the universe wind down. God could intervene if He wanted but He appears to have set up a certain chain of events and would probably not choose to do so.

Besides, why worry about it? By the time our sun goes supernova, and billions of years later when this universe reaches its final stages we certainly won't be here to have to face it.

In my own personal opinion, mankind will have either have reached a stage of further development which will have made worrying about such physical events obsolete, or will have traveled to other universes in order to escape such occurrences.

Sigh.... What gives you the idea that God is going to destroy it? The universe and the planet Earth are not the same thing, except if you are a liberal. I can't wait to hear about universal warming and the ice caps on Pluto melting.

Okay, I was reading some of the answers you recieved and quite frankly, I believe, like one of your answerer's said, that God is a loving God, and He indeed created the earth for us to enjoy!! God knows all things, and He gave satan Power, when he was Gods Best-friend.. Didn't God foresee, Satan was going to turn evil with this Power.. I think what happened was God was hoping Satan was going to be Good with this Power, when He turned bad, so did earth... Satan being "Ruler" of the air and all, he has gotten all of us to destroy what God had created for us.. We dont do it consciously... Some do but, most of us, try not to deliberately ruin our earth.. Just like "Global Warming" its from man, that its happening... But, whats left of it after "Armaghetton" has finished it practically off... Jahovah's witnesses believe God's going to "Recreate" the whole planet, for us,right here on earth!! I'm not a "Jahovahs Witness" but, this could very well be "True"... Because, I think "Hell" is in our Earth's-Core... There's alot of heat going on in the center of earth... And what a perfectly "Logical" place, for God to put "Hell"!! Everyone's always refered to it all my life,as down there!! And "Down there" is where our Earth's Core is.......... Makes sense to me... But, honey, its not God destroying earth... Why would He want to destroy earth, unless nothing but "Evil" reigned here, after "Armahgetton", then I could see Him, destroying whats left, and starting fresh from the "Core" outwardly!!! Only God knows.. Ask Him, when you get to Heaven, what's going on.. I have alot of questions for Him myself... Smile!

Who told you God will destroy the universe? If it ever gets destroyed, it will be our fault, not God's.

For the sheer fun of it. We are, after all, just pawns in a chess game.
