i asked this once before.. but i WASNT talking about icecream? it's a japanese food.. its kinda like a bread.. sorta.. made out of brown rice and seaweed and other various ingredients. ever had it? i usually eat mine plain, but any cool ways to eat it?

for plain mochi-Boil water with ginger and sugar,then put your mochi in it. It tastes good.

yeah i like it very much.
say i can live on with only Mochi for a week
in some countries like Thailand, they have their own kind of snacks of that sort called Mochi too. i found this quite similar
but i really like the way the Japanese ones look

Yes, my mom used to fix it when I still lived at home. We usually had it plain, too....but I was just thinking of ways to spruce it up that would be tasty. You could make it sweet by drizzling honey over it, sprinkling some cinnamon or even adding fruit and whipped cream.
If you wanted to make it "savory" you could add fresh chopped herbs and cheese.
Also, I bet it would be good with peanut or almond butter spread on top. Mmmm.

You can buy it at Trader Joes. My daughter loves it. They have it in little tiny balls in a tray. Very cute. It makes an elegant dessert.

yes, ive had it. its ok, but ice cream is better, mochi has that weird skin
