Not too boyish at all. I think it's cool that girls can be girly and the aethletic too. I say go for it, give it your all and look fabulous doing it. (please just don't wear lip gloss or heavy make up on the court, leave that for after the game).

What in the world do sports have to do with being 'boyish'? If you are athletic and like the sport, go for it. Who in the world instilled in you the idea that playing ball is for boys? I was a great, and I mean great, basketball player in high school. We won championship 3 years straight. And, I dated throughout high school and got married and everything. It is NOT boyish to play ball. Just do it!

I think if you like playing, then Yes you should try out.Basketball is not considered boyish sport, and if it is who cares?? You can become professional and make some good money, but you still need to study !! Sorry that's the mom in me writing

Yes you should try out. There's nothing boyish about it. I played basketball when I was in high school and it was a lot of fun. Show your skills on the court and have fun!

girl, it's not too boyish! There are athletic girls out there who are also very feminine. If I were you I would join you'll probably make a lot of girlfriends!!!

if thats what you really want to do than go for it. its not boyish because both girls and boys can play it. i also know alot of girls that aren't tomboys at all and play basketball so go for it!

yeaaa you shud definitly go for wut ur good at expsecially if you like it. cuz if you dont u might have a lot of regrets in the future, plus basketball isnt too boyish, if your good you'll get respect for that. And if people cant deal they aren't your true friends to begin with.

Honey if you like it, doesn't even matter if you are good at it or not, by all means do it. We live in a time where you can do almost anything your heart desires and people will cheer you on.

Go for it!!! Boys like athletic girls. My son and his friends all date basketball players and/or softball players.
