I don't know if there will be one, but there should be. At the end of Silent Hill, I think the mother and daughter died and are now a part of Silent Hill and the father is in another demension from them and will go and try to find them. That's probably why it ended like that.

i don't know, the movie was superb, but it will be hard to make a sequel continuing the same story, perhaps a new story? but i don't know how many people would like that
how can people not understand the movie, it is easy to understand

I say the sequel should explain the first one. But it would still be a waste of film.

Dear Lord, I HOPE NOT! I got it as a gift and lost several brain cells watching it! I felt them dying! One SILENT HILL was one SILENT HILL too many!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I gave it away the day after I got it!)
