Just to answer the first answerer, I mean women's basketball in general...for example, someone really great in college now i would expect to be one of the best women's basketball players ever by the time their career has ended. Even high school players too, but make sure that your predictions are projected to estimate their success their entire career, whether it has yet to really begin or has already ended or is in the process. Your answer should rank the players of this time with those of the last decade with those coming out of college right now, with only the best making your top 5 or 10.

Who have earned top 3 already...

1.) Cynthia Cooper - she had the I'm unstoppable factor. The I'm going to beat you no matter what.

2.) Sheryl Swoopes - My favorite player (hated putting Cooper first)...I think she's a great all around player. She had WNBA championships, a few MVPs, all-defensive team almost every year she has played. And she has a few gold medals.

3.)Lisa Leslie/Dawn Staley - The people who get the WNBA to where it is today. Lisa, I think she's overrated but she has her share of championships and gold medal. Dawn is a great floor general and she knows the game.

In no order, players I think will be great:

Diana Taurasi - magic johnson type player I think. Her college career speaks for itself. The future of the WNBA.

Seimone Augustus - smooth, cool player who just has a natural ability to play ball. The future of the WNBA.

Cappie Pondexter - I love the way she plays...hard nosed.

Candace Parker - favorite player to watch! GO UT! She amazing...she needs to develop more of an outside shot. Then she's be unstoppable. I would love to see her and Taurasi go at it.

If you're talking about best female basketball players ever, you've got to put some of the oldies in there, like Cheryl Miller. As for the current list, I have a bias for Lauren Jackson because she plays for the Storm. I think Lisa Leslie is overrated. She's great, but she's also on a great team.

In my opinion Diana Taurasi is the best women basketball player ever. Her college days were awesome. She is currently the best player in the world. Please watch her highlights.
