To be of any real help, I will need to know more about your situation. Are your friends swingers? Do either of you have any experience with swinging? Assuming that you have no experience with swinging, and that you do not know if your friends are swingers, I would suggest the following: Rent a movie that opens up the topic for discussion. There is actually a very good movie called “Swingers” – it is not really about swingers, but the title is enough to open the door, and it really is a great movie. Another good movie is “Kinsey” (which is about the life of the scientist who is famous for studying sexual behavior). There are others, but that’s all that come to my mind at the moment. Anyway, after the movie, watch their reactions. If they seem open-minded, you might ask (in a non-committal “just curious” sort of way) “Have you ever thought about swinging?” And see where it goes from there. If you do become involved in the swinging lifestyle, you might want to join some adult Yahoo groups where swingers hang out. There are lots of variations on swinging (same-room sex, for example, means you don’t really swap partners. You can always swing together, or swing separately, etc.) If you need help finding them, or have further questions, send me an email.

First, ask yourself if either you, your wife or any of your friends you're considering are suitable. Swinging can be enjoyable, can liven up relations, and is perfectely safe should you use the right protection (in contrary to the thrusts of some of the responses here).

However, it's not for those who have a predisposition to jealousy; you must feel secure in your relationship, as the fallout of jealousy is always tricky to handle (especailly when it involves friends close enough for you to feel confident enough to start swinging with in the first place). Whilst it is true that swinging can in theory provide the fun to restart a relationship that's getting somewhat flaccid, on the other hand if it's used as a means of dealing with problems created by causes other than slightly samey sex, it might not be a great idea. Be sure your relationship is strong and that you and your wife are comfortable. If so, go ahead- it will be a great deal of fun. Good luck!

My husband and I have been swinging for a while. Even though we have friends who swing also we wouldn't go there with them. Our friendship means more than anything. It isn't worth the chance that something could go wrong. Find others in your area that swing and try that. The most important thing with swinging is communication. You can have a great time if you are very open and honest with each other. Have fun.

First check out the video at the Lifestyle Lounge. When you quit laughing, then sign-up on a swingers site like Lifestyle Lounge, Swing Lifestyle, Swappernet, or Swingular.

Also, spend some time reading all about it on The Swingers Board, there is allot of great information there from people who actually swing and aren't just talking out their butts. It's free and you don't have to register to read, just to post.

LOOK U DON'T JUST START SWINGING W/UR FRIENDS U TALK ABOUT IT WITH THEM . ASK THEIR OPINIONS AND SEE WHAT THEY THINK HOWEVER IF U CHOOSE TO DO THAT THEN U HAVE TO BE WILLING TO EXCEPT THE CONSEQUENCES THAT GO WITH IT, AND THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES WHAT IF UR PARTNER DECIDES IT'S OK TO DO IT WHILE U ARE GONE , THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN U MAKE THIS DECISION ARE U SURE U WANT TO ,BUT THE CHOICE IS UP TO U .

It would be better to do that with anonymous folks ina neighboring city...there are certain clubs and bars where people like that meet.....look on the net...join some website or chat group...cooridinate events at hotels or motels if you have kids...or make sure the kids are at the relatives or a friend's house...keep it discreet....away from church, relatives, and even your friends...they might turn on you after learning about your lifestyle....but by all means, indulge ..life is too short.

Home Depot has backyard swingset kits for do-it-yourselfers, if you- oh, you mean *that* kind of swinging. Ask them what their opinion is of swinging, don't propose it until you get an idea of how they feel about it as a general value.

Never done this but would suspect that you'd find out what their thoughts are on the subject by striking up a conversation on a casual basis while having dinner or something. If it sounds promising, then make your move to be each others experimental partners.

By asking couples that you feel might want to participate. Or by going on line and finding local couples that are already swinging.
