I had my tongue pierced, and survived. Now I am thinking of having my hood and or nipples pierced. Any other gals out there have any advice on this? Is it terrible pain. If so, how long? Is it easy to change jewlrey after it heals? Are there considerations on choosing who to do the piercing?

I had a friend who had her hood pierced and she said that it was the most painful thing that she had ever done, but now she really loves it. So does her husband. Really both of them like it when he decides to "head south" for the winter!!!

I have my hood pierced. It does hurt, a lot, but just for a few seconds. Then it never hurts again. Literally, by the time you get off the table, there's no more pain. There's no risk of nerve injury with a hood piercing. A true clitoral piercing, yes for certain, but reputable piercers will not perform a clitoral piercing anyway

So, the pain lasts for just a few seconds, but you have plenty of adrenaline running by then, so it's not too bad. And it's totally worth it.

Don't know anything about nipples, but from what I've read, it sounds like they're hard to heal. The hood piercing is completely healed in less than 6 weeks.

I have my hood and labia pierced. It wasn't too bad with the pain and felt better by the next day or so. Changing the jewelry is easy but just a little awkward. I had problems with infection when I had my nipple pierced but I think that was because I went out with this idiot who thought he needed to suck on it when the piercing was very new (less than a week). Just be sure you go to a reputable body piercer who keeps a clean shop.

You had your tongue pierced and survived? I say you went the wrong way usually they pierce the ears, then the nose, then the belly then maybe the eyebrow or the tongue. But you went right for the tongue. Anything after that is easy.

I even have my left nipple pierced. there is a few preliminary soreness besides the indisputable fact that it is going at as quickly as in case you exhale, as i became advised by the female who became doing the piercing and that's real yet i do no longer understand why.

OK...I'm not one of those anti-piercing fanatics...I have my nostril and navel done. My only thing with what you're talking about doing is this...if the piercer is off..even a little bit...you can kiss all pleasurable sensations good bye forever.

Why not just chop off a part of your body while you are at this self mutilation thing? Seriously, it looks stupid and trashy. You want to look like a tramp?
