I'm sure everyone at some time or another regrets it. Think about your situation and think about when you are regretting it if you are regretting it when in hard times or after a fight, lots of people feel that way, it's just a heightened emotion. If everything is fine and dandy but you still feel regret then maybe you should explore it futher and discuss it with your spouse. Sometimes we forget how great our spouse is and we start thinking about how it could have been if you married someone else or not married at all, but really think about it and is there trully something wrong with your spouse or are you just bored and ungrateful.

More details about your marriage would help get a better response.

I live in a sexless marriage and sometimes I regret it. I think though to be fair I should say that most of the time I do not let on that I regret it as much as I do. I have THE two greatest kids on the planet and actually a pretty great girl (except for the pledge of celibacy)... I get to give her all of the money that I make and then enjoy the fact that I don't have to worry about all that exercise 3 to 5 times a week though...

I don't regret getting married... Even to my ex - although, I would regret staying with him for any longer than I have. No, you don't "stick it out" no matter what, but you do need to take your share of responsibility in trying to make the marriage the best it can be.

My first marriage lasted 3 years. It was a disappointment that it didn't work out, but it wasn't so much a regret as it was a learning experience. Now I've been married 20 years and have had tremendously difficult times with our health and financial situations, yet I am truly happy with our marriage and feel fortunate to have found a great companion to support me when the chips are down and to share the good times with too.

I don't regret getting married but I do regret not divorcing him 18 years ago after the birth of my youngest. I was married to the best liar, the world can offer ,a cheater .etc. etc.Divorcing him has make me feel an overwelming sence of peace and freedom that I will not trade for nothing.

With the way I'm feeling right now....I regret it. But until the time comes that I know that I can take care of my kids on my own...I'm sticking it out. I have to.

I have seen both sides of the coin. My grandparents, who were married up until their late 80's were always committed to each other, but my grandmother suffered from verbal abuse in my opinion. I have seen couples stick together "because of the kids" even though they don't love each other. But in my life, I never had the chance to find out. I was married for 2 years--the best years of my life--until he left me. Should he have stuck it out? I don't know, but he should have let me known about his doubts before we got married. (Because it was over something that he knew about while we were dating.) I would have loved him til the day I died, but he didn't feel the same way towards me, so I guess it's best to go on and find somebody who does. At least that is my personal thoughts about it.
