I thought it was a 'come as you are party'.

Last year, I worked at a place where the women were so tacky. Close to 50 of us in an open office area. I dressed as a woman and the only other skirt in the place was a woman dressed as a witch. The only reason I didn't win is that at first glance the only thing that looked strange was that cheap wig, so they didn't understand why my boss submitted a picture of me in the contest. The point was made, though, and several begin spiffing up a little before going to work and one of the bosses thanked me for the mild rebuke I gave everyone.

But not this year.

I'm in 7th grade. And me and one of my BFFs have decided not to be anything for halloween. In our school, on Halloween, after 1pm, there are no classes, and we just dress up and do a parade. Pretty pointless. (My school is K-8). So we are just going to leave at 12pm, during lunch. Have our parents pick us up.

I am an adult and I do not have children. Last year I walked with my neighbor's children. I like to see costumes. I have tried to make a spider costume but the cape always looks like a net instead of a web. My best costume was a cat.

I don't get dressed-up for Halloween.

But when I open the door I shout "Trick Or Treat" before the kids can. So I get to take their goodies (my wife makes me give it back, and the parent's love it.)
