i have messed up all my conection settings on my windows xp on lan connected to a bt voyager router please can you help me

Connect to your router by ethernet cable & go into your account & reset them to what they should be

Before you restore your system, try this.

Shut down the computer.
Unplug the router from its power supply
Unplug the cable/dsl modem power

After at least 60 seconds, plug the modem back in. Let all the lights come on and stop flashing
Plug the router back in
Restrart the computer

In many cases, letting each component renegotiate in sequence will resolve the problem

Do a System Restore to before the settings got messed up, or use the reset button to reset the router to factory defaults and start from there.

right click on the network icon start-control panel- network places) there should be a repair option - try that
