Yes, for several reasons, and getting your homework done is only one of them. Getting proper sleep is the most important one. You need to be getting 8-10 hours of sleep a night. All the important things that happens to your body takes place at this time. Beginning with:

1. Everything that you learned during the day is sorted and stored. While awake, you use only temporary memory, you don't hit the save button until you go to sleep. During the day you are absorbing 10 megabytes of data per second, with an overall capacity estimated at 15 petabytes. That's a lot of data to be processed.

2. Your immune system is in active mode while awake, fighting off all the little germs and viruses you are coming into contact with. When you sleep, it regenerates, preparing you for the next day.

3. All repairs to injuries, whether minor or major, takes places while you are sleeping. Those growing pains you feel is a sign you are not getting enough sleep, and you have minor muscle strains that have not been properly repaired while you were sleeping.

4. All your growth takes place while you are sleeping. Not getting enough sleep means you may not be as tall, and as developed, as you could have been. And that means everything that grows, including that tally-whacker between your legs. It could end up not as long as it could have been.

I know this is not what you want to hear, but that is what parents are for, to make sure that you learn what is good for yourself. It has been less than three years since you BEGAN developing conceptual thought process, and you don't complete that until age 30. Sorry, females complete it at age 24.

Something that may help you can be found on my Yahoo 360, click on my image. You will find a pie chart there. Save it to your computer and print it out. It will show you how little time your parents have to control your life, compared to how much time you can do anything you want.

That's a funny Avatar for 15 year old girl. Are you impersonating your daughter? Or does too much sleep make you look like an old man? ;-) Lighten-up, 8pm is excessively early, unless there's a ton of homework still to be done. Are we talking about a conscientious student or one who passes by the skin of her teeth. Too many variables / but use your best judgment. Good luck.

pretty fair ... maybe if you come home at this time for a while you could ask for more time.Look at this way 8:00pm a lot of good shows on tv start, you will still have time for studying, can talk on phone or go online, get your clothes and stuff ready for the next day, exercise or get more sleep. Its really only works out to 4 nights early.

I think this is fair considering all the perverts that are out there. it is safe that you be home at 8 and before 12 on the weekends. People or different these days they kidnapp and rape young girls and boys. You have sick men who come out late at night just to find young girls who have just left parties or there jobs. Its always good to be safe besides you will have plenty of free time when youre older. And when you do get older you won't even want to stay out later.

Heck, no. Go run around in the dark with people who can't defend you. Better yet, just leave home, go live under a bridge some place. That would PROVE you are all grown up and ready to face life's challenges.

Maturity is knowing your limitations and working within them.

10pm is what most parents do, if yours are that strict i am sure you will rebel with drugs and sex and end up becomming a stripper when you get a taste of true freedom.

Sad, parents should learn to let the kids grow up before they are old enough to leave.. once they go out, if they have not grown up under supervision they get way crazy and get to be super freaks.

More strippers are always good though =)
