They are a tie in my opinion, I love their songs and they are nice people.

I agree with you. I really like them both. Now, if you would have added Paris Hilton (she sings now) I couldn't have agreed with you. She is a tramp and the other two seem like nice young women.

I think both of them are pretty good cause Gwen Stefani has been known for No Doubt and been famous for along time now and well Kelly Clarkson is a new artist and is actually cool too.

Maybe 5 years ago I would have said Gwen Stefani, but I don't even think she is trying to write songs anymore. Her last few songs sounded like they were written by a five year old, so Kelly gets my vote
