Bulling is becoming an increasing problem in the schools today. Most bullies behave the way they do because of their home life. Watching parents constantly fighting or beating the child teaches them that this is the way to act whenever they want something. It is also a way for them to retaliate from their own pain by hurting younger or smaller children. It gives them a feeling of power to bully someone else instead of receiving it themselves. It also covers up their insecurities they are hiding from their treatment at home.

All the studies in the world would never solve this. NOT ALL BULLIES ARE INSECURE. Sometimes they hate people or the way they act. It's inevitible. You have to live with it, and maybe if you had a life you wouldn't be bullied. All the people above are just parents trying to make their bullied child feel good about themselves and lead them into a false conception that it isn't them that are making the bullies bully them

It's because they are insecure with themselves and making other people feel bad about themselves or hurting them makes the bullies feel better about themselves. These are people that usually need a lot of councelling when they got older. Be the better person and don't put up with it.

Extensive study has been done on bullies over the years.
Almost all bullies are getting the crap pounded out of them by their parents at home, and think that's what big people do to little people.
Seriously.

Because they are insecure about themselves, and thinking that by picking on the weaker kids to show dominiation, they can gain popularity and acceptance by other kids.

I think it's because they feel so bad about themselves that they have this need to make others feel just as bad.
