Recently it seems like my friends have made a connection with other people through cultural similarities or language. I don't really have anyone to connect .

Your not missing anything. I know it probably feels this way to you right now. How do you know you won't meet someone that you will connect with? It doesn't have to be right now, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. You will meet so many people in your lifetime. Don't worry about how fast your friends seem to be meeting people because your not missing out on anything. If you really feel like this is something that you want then why don't you try and find places that will put you among people with different languages and different cultural backgrounds. I'm sure you will find what you desire.

Friends will come and go. You should join a club or a church group. Maybe take up a hobby or join a team sport. There are lots of ways to make new friends.

You could always go to places where there are a lot of social activities to make some more friends.
