Since I now do neither, may I wade in?
I would rather be around weedsmokers than alcohol drinkers - almost 500X more. I have seen both used to excess.
Marijuana is illegal. Big draw back. Folks who smoke lots are putting some lungtissue at risk. They also have some problems with short-term memory loss and some paranoia. However, I have not seen anyone high on only marijuana ever hurt anyone. Pot is expensive now, I am told. That is a tough thing on families: money being used on dope.
Contrary, alcohol is legal but certainly kills. Drunk drivers have killed at least 5 of my friends. Alcoholism and rage seem to go together. Some folks are very violent drunks. Over indulgence of alcohol can lead to blackouts, lack of judgement about safe (or unsafe) sex, and even intoxication to the level of death. Alcohol is a downer. It suppresses breathing.
As I tell folks who offer me drinks: "The Great Spirit has told me that alcohol makes me clumsy and stupid. I am enough of both."

Alcohol is definitly worse for you! I think you'd be much better off with a wee bit of marijuana! You don't have to leave your house, most people that do it stay in and smoke it with their friends, but with alcohol you have people going out and just abusing it and ending up too legless and thats when fights break out..but if any of you watch jeremy Kyle you will see and from maybe some "past experiences" you will see, it effects your brain and can, make people very paranoid! But some people enjoy it and I believe it should be made legal, why not? It is also a pain killer!! On the other hand, alcohol can effect people very badly and in a lot of cases lead to Liver damage,a lot of people's relationships are ruined through alcohol. Alcohol will never become illegal again though, although I think it should be!!

I think alcohol is worse. Alcohol can make the person mean.

Marijuana is the worst on your brain. The alcohol damages your liver and other vital organs.

Neither... It´s like saying that cookies are fattening. The one who gets fat IS one. Marijuana and booze are bad when abused of. But both may have interestingly good properties when taken responsibly once in a while and in small amounts. Those that are bad are the ones who ABUSE of it.

alcohol. Im not a big weed smoker but I do partake occasionally, particularly if Im having trouble sleeping It just calms me down.
Alcohol on the other hand makes me sick, headachy,anxious, and the tast is foul.
with booze you lose, with dope there is hope :D

i took dare this year and ill tell u sompin marijuna is a lot worse that achol marijana kills brain cells if u have marajanan a lot u can die because it also is really really dangorus so is drinking
