There's that whole "no white after Labor Day" rule. However, I think that sometimes it's good to break fashion rules. Be creative and wear what you like and what looks good on you.
As to the black shoes, hmmmmmm. What color shirt? Black does go with just about everything, though.

why not , who cares what time of the year it is . At least it isn't winter , then I would say no to the skirt and the sandels.
