That is totally a matter of opinion. I've got close to 30% of my body covered, including my face and yes, some of them did hurt. But if it didn't hurt a little, it just wouldn't be the same!!!
The little bit of temporary pain there is, is all a part of the process...The pain doesn't last, but the art is there for ever!!

It depends on where you get them. In my experience the ones that hurt the worst are the ones closer to the bone. Another thing to consider is the outline. The thicker and darker the outline, the more it stings! You may want to start out with a small, or more simple tattoo to see how you handle it.
Also, they are addictive. If you get one, you'll probably want more!

I think it depends on where you get the tattoo. If you get one where there is a lot of fatty tissue under the skin, it won't hurt as bad. But if you get one where there is just bone or muscle underneath, it's going to hurt more. I'm getting one on my lower back on my birthday. I'm skinny, so my Dad says it's going to hurt.

Nope! I have 2, one on my lower back and one on my shoulder. The mid-part on my lower back kinda hurt because it was right on my backbone, but other than that it kinda feels like a sting, and afterwards like a sunburn. Couple of days and you are good to go!

Depends on what part of the body and your pain threshhold. I only have one on my back, but the pain level was very tolerable. It was so much fun that I want to do it again.

YES...BUT PEOPLE TAKE PAIN DIFFERENTLY.
MY DAUGHTER AND SONS AND DAUGHTER IN LAW ALL HAVE SEVERAL TATTOOS.ALL SAID THEY'D DO IT AGAIN.MY SONS ARE"SLEEVED OUT" ALREADY AND HAVE TATTOOS ON ALMOST EVERY PART OF THEIR BODIES..
