I think you see the difference between a woman who is shouldering some of the weight of the world, and one who takes a mandatory, desultory interest in politics to further a career based on her looks and body.

In other words, the difference between a person who chooses to take on an important role in society, and one who chooses to be fluff. One who spends her time in a job of substantial societal importance, and one who spends long hours in front of a mirror, in a gym, in a hair/makeup artists chair, or under a plastic surgeon's knife. One who spends her life in service to society (whether you agree with their politics or not), and one who spends her life in service to her own appearance.

I don't agree that either Hillary Clinton or Dr. Rice are ugly women. They have eventful lives, and those lives show in the character and care on their faces. But, obviously, they are very busy people; they don't spend their time trying to look like beauty queens. Which, I assume, a beauty queen must.

It's sad that people care so much about appearances, and I would encourage you to pay attention to the more important issues these women represent regardless of whether or not you find their faces unattractive. Focussing on trivial issues instead of paying heed to the activities of our politicians is what got us into this mess to begin with.

I guess they just take the part of politician too serious and become more like their male counterparts. I guess its hard to keep up with your make up when you have a busy schedule.
