You have to be talking about soccer, because if you are talking about either World War it was the US who did all of the work. Hey, maybe that is what happened. The United States secretly put American players in French uniforms so they could be victorious to thwart off another facetious invasion that would force them to raise arms against their allies for about 10 minutes, again. Cough, North Africa, cough. That explains why we suck so much at soccer, because all the good players are playing for France all CIA style and they are so ashamed afterwords they commit suicide to cleanse themselves of the pansy colors they just represented.
