I grew up in Brazil, and I was 8 years old when this happened. I was sleeping alone in my room and in the morning (around 6 pm) I woke up without any apparently reason and I looked up and I saw this person standing by my bed looking at me. she looked just like my mom, but she had a weird look on her face, without facial expressions, looking straight ahead at me. After a few seconds, I said "mom"...i realized that it wasn't my mom, she didn't answer and I freaked out. I felt this chilling feeling inside of me and I put my head under the covers and started to pray out loud. I looked back and she was gone. i told my mom about in the morning and she sweared it wasn't her. That experience is traumatizing and I really don't want to see anything else like that again.

I love people who comment "there's no such thing as ghosts". Freaking close minded retards. There is evidence out there that ghosts exist, video footage, photos, EVP's, etc. I bet they all believe in God too, but no one has ever seen that guy. There's just a book about him so we're all suppose to have faith and just accept that he's real, right? So why are ghosts so hard to believe in? To answer your question, yes. I've seen a ghost. It was the most exhilarating, yet horrifying experience I've ever had. I was staying with my grandmother who lives in an old plantation that has been in our family for generations, it dates back to the early 1800's. My great-great grandfather was one of the men that started KKK. Our family is enriched deep in the south and people were brought up to believe certain things and have certain opinions at that time. Anyways, I use to spend a lot of summers with my grandmother. Weird little things would happen that would scare any kid, i would hear noices, hear people whispering and when i would tell my grandmother she'd just say "the house has a lot of history, that's all you hear." She said it comforting, so I tried not to let things bother me. A Long time ago, my great great grandfather did a lot of bad things to black folks that my family doesn't talk about. Even his father's father owned slaves that lived on the very land the plantation is on. My story is dragging to the point, but I just wanted to give a little history first. So, one summer, I'm at Grandma's house. I was 15 years old. I remember waking up in the middle of the night hearing someone screaming. I ran to my grandmothers room to find her sleeping, then i heard the screaming again. My grandmother didn't wake up and slept quietly. I became terrified, then suddenly, a balck woman, dressed in old dirty clothes walked out of MY room, looked at me for what felt like an eternity, and walked down the hall and dissapeared down the stairs. All I remember was that i was sobbing and my grandmother holding me. I never slept in that room again, and have never felt alone in the house since. I haven't been back since my grandmother died. My Dad inheritated the house and I just haven't mustered the courage to visit quite yet. I'm 24 now. I think I saw an old slave woman, and to this day I'll never forget the way she looked at me. It was pure hatred.

I was working the night shift at a Super 8 Motel here in Kentucky when I noticed the lights flickering on the second floor on the security camera. I didn't think nothing of it, then I heard footsteps over top of my head. I looked up on the monitor again and saw a little girl dressed in a long white gown. She was staring at the camera. It was like she was looking right at me. I was curious, so I got on the elevator and went up there. When I was on the second floor, it was unusually cold. I could even see my breath! Needless to say, I don't go up there very often anymore.

When I was 12 years old I saw my grandfather sitting on chair outside of my Grandmothers room. He had his arms folded like he was standing guard over her while she slept. He passed away in 1966. My grand says she has seen him there hundreds of times over the last 40 years. Not really a spooky story but still.
