I liked the book better than the movie, but the movie was fairly good, too...
If I ever get a coupla cats, I'll name them "Sodapop" and "Ponyboy."

I read the book and I loved it. My favorite part is when Pony Boy and Johnny save those kids in the burning church. The movie is also really good. If you haven't seen it, I would suggest doing so. I ordered my copy off of the internet because it can be hard to find. It basically stays true to the book in most aspects of it.

Loved both the book and the movie. If you haven't seen the movie in a while go back and watch. So many early performances from actors that later became very famous!

I absolutely LOVE that book. I've read it 100 times and still cry over the story. The best part was when Johnny died. It was so heartbreaking for ponyboy and Dallas.

It was fantastic, if you like the book you will most likely like the movie, the movie is old though, most of the time you can find it at the local library if you can't find it at the video store. Happy Reading!
