There's always a committment whether you're friends, sex partners, or whatever. You have to have and keep an agreement. If you BOTH agree and really do and aren't just saying that to please the other, and you don't fool around with diseased people and bring a disease to your partner, and are respectful and keep your end of the bargain, it's not wrong. Friends with benefits is okay if you are a real friend and don't treat your partner like a prostitute.

I guess that's really up to you to decide if you find it okay to engage in casual sex- so long as the people involved aren't in "committed, monogamous relationships". You take your own risks of compromising your health and winding up having an "illegitimate" child. You're an adult. Do what's right for YOU.

I have promised a commitment. I'll be around forever.
Does that make it wrong for others? I'm not here to be a Judge. I can only speak for my own relationships.

I refer you to the episode of Seinfeld in which this very same thing was attempted...

It didn't work out so well... Of course, that was fiction. But the results could very well be the same...
