She needs to follow the legal process in her state.
She will be required to give him legal notice and state landlord/tenant law will determine what the notice must say, how it is to be served and the length of time before the notice takes effect.
If he doesn't move by then, she will have to file in court for eviction.
There really is no other way to do it, despite all the suggestions of calling the police, changing the locks, putting his stuff out, etc that I am sure you will get on here. Those type of actions will get your aunt sued, arrested or both.
There is only one legal way to do this, and that is the way I have described above.

Is that in the US,
Here in our side of the globe there is none..
Family, sons and daugters can stay with the family forever, even if it already hurts..

GO to youre local police get an eviction notice.
gives him 30, days to get out when his thirty days are up
call the police .they physically inforce the order. did this
twice . The worst part is waiting 30 days UGG!

Depends on how old the son is and howmuch action she wants to take. She could probably call the police if he didn't leave and say that she asked him multiple times.

Some states require 30 days notice in writing via court AND a reason!!! I know how you feel.

if he's 18, she can call the police or change the locks and have his stuff on the porch then if he causes problems call the police.
