I was going to recommend hostels, but I don't know if they accept children. I think some of them do. Otherwise, hotels.com as my second choice. Have Fun!!

The Comfort Inn near Tower Bridge is a good, clean hotel. Hasn't got any views but is 2 minutes walk from tower bridge. It's &65 for two adults and that includes a good buffet breakfast.

London is a cesspit when it comes to cheap hotels. Try Travel-lodge and Ibis, or see which are recommended by the English Tourist Board, the AA and the RAC.

If you want clean & child friendly on a budget then try the Travel Lodge. They have some really good deals if you book in advance. If your lucky it could be as cheap as £15.00.

Have you considered using a B&B instead of a hotel? For the slight inconvenience of going a few more tube stops out, you get better prices, and a room in a quieter area instead of panoramic views of 24 hour traffic jams.

Try the Travel lodge, Holiday Inn and other motel chain websites. Often cheaper at weekends or at short notice.
