I was his job, mabye not what you or I would do, but how does him helping out animals constitute him deserving to die? If he hunted or hurt animals than mabye I would reconsider but he always donated time money an resources to help out the worlds animals, and in line with your way of thinking does that mean anyone with a dangerous job deserves to die??,like miners or police or military, I think not? Have a heart the man lost his life.

It was more of an accident waiting to happen. I also think that the snake guy is skating on thin ice as well. Anderson Cooper ask the snake guy last night if he thought that the Crocodile Hunter pushed it too far and was it really necessary for teaching. The snake said that the only way to get people to watch is to take extreme risks.

Of course not! No one deserves to die especially in that way. Alot of people are saying that he provoked the stingray like he's provoked other animals in the past and that's bunk! He loved his job and he loved the animals he worked with so who are they so say so? What happened was an unfortunate thing and people should just let the man rest in peace and not make judgements.

NO ONE DESERVES TO DIE... who has not killed another. Stevie did what he loved to do, & tried not to hurt anyone along the way. Yes, he made mistakes, but who hasn't? It's sad... his children will miss his enthusiasm & love he bestowed upon them, Terry his wife will miss him period, & his parents will feel the guilt of surviving their child, but I'm sure they are proud of him & miss him terribly! The world has lost another good soul, rest in peace Crocodile Hunter!

I really do think the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin did have it coming to him, since he was very risky around all wild animals, especially crocs and gators. That is just my opinion.

I dont think that is a nice question. everyone says he died doing what the loved. Do you know how many people love to swim. and do you know that there are stingrays out there where people are swimming. It could happen to anyone. I just worry about the daughter, for it was her children's program she was working on.
How will it affect her. and had'nt she just got out of the water. It could have been her.

No, he was a man who loved animals and wanted to make a difference for them in a world that is destroying their natural habitats daily, it was dangerous work of course but at least he died doing something he loved.

No way. This was a bizarre and unexpected accident. Who is really going to say that he should have been wearing a protective breast plate while swimming with rays? Get real.

Of course not. He was doing what he loved, hanging with animals and entertaining people. He should have been more careful but he certainly didn't have that coming. Only rapists and murderers deserve to die that way.

No, he didn't have it coming. He knew the risk but Steve lived his life the way he wanted. How many of us can say that?
