course because it did not fit in with my timetable a 6th form, i am wondering which is the best/ closest to an ICT A-level i can get at night school?

You should be able to do A-level IT at night school, I did.

Normally, I'd check what level equivalent quals are at using the LSC's Learning Aims Database, except it's down right now. If you want to go straight on to an A-level equivalent qual, institutions may want to check it will be the right level for you, so inquire what they want (A GCSE IT should do).

Many providers also run courses on specific timetables (unless they say it's roll on, roll off) , so collect local prospectuses now to both see what's on offer and make sure you sign up in time.
