Plus if you need repair. .they have tech's & the parts are cheaper. . than other brand names such as HP, sony, or Dell.

EMachines used to be a pretty poor brand of PC that has since been bought by Gateway. I'm writing this on an EMachine right now. This particular computer has performed much better than any of the Dells or Gateways I've owned. When Gateway bought EMachines, they redesigned how the computers were built.

EMachines are regular PCs just like Dell, or HP, or anything else with one big exception, they stink. They have more hardware failures than any other brand except Gateway. They are the cheapest but this is one instance where you get what you pay for.
In all fairness they have recently recieved good scores from consumer reports, but I wouldn't bet my money on the idea that they've suddenly improved their quality control.

EMachines is a brand of a PC. Really bad brand if I may add. I don't like them. They tend to use to cheapest stuff on their computer. But if you are just going to surf the web, it should be fine.
