Yes, everyone does it. Maybe not everyone who is 13, but eventually, we all do.

The best thing you can do for your friend is to help her realize this is normal behavior and there's nothing wrong with it. However, it doesn't sound like you agree with that. It's completely normal to explore and get to know your body. Her future husband will thank her.

First of all, I didn't see your question but she shouldn't feel ashamed of masturbating. It's a natural thing. However, it shouldn't consume her to the point of obsession.

There should be a hotline that she could call for her depression and I'm sure they could recommend a mental health professional.

I think it's wonderful that you are looking out for your friend.

I cant remember the show but there is a medical reason for this sorry I cant name the show surely their is a doctor that can help. woman with this were miserable

why does she have to quit masturbating? its not a bad thing as long as its done privately and doesnt interfere with school or work.

i would go to a trusted adult, her parents, your parents some one who is able to talk to her about how she is feeling.
