It keeps saying d drive is empty

Depends on several factors. One is that the media(disc) you are putting in is in a format that can't be read by the D drive. Are you putting a DVD into a CD drive? Or a CD-RW into a CD-ROM?

Another problem might be that the disc is scratched or dirty. Try cleaning the disc.

Another possibility is that the drive is burnt or broken. Is this is the case, you would have to replace the drive.

It is also possible that the operating system lost the drivers to the drive. You might could look at the computer manufacturers website on how to fix this.

Then you dont have a dvd drive. You have to have a dvd drive on your computer to play movies. Or if you have 2 drives try putting the movie in the other drive.
