Real Madrid certainly have a star studded squad (as always). With the arrival of Fabio Cannavaro, Emerson, Mahamadou Diarra, Jose-Antonio Reyes and Ruud Van-Nistelrooy to what they already had, they will be a formidable team this season, however, i think Barcelona, Bayern Munich, the two Milan giants and the big four in England certainly have comparable strength in depth.

Real is huge club but despite having all the footy players there, they will never produce a champion team. They are a bunch of individual stars who can't work as a team.

Real do have a great drawing power. The weather, the teams reputation, and the ability to dish out huge contracts never hurts.

But as others have said, they have not been as dominate the last few years. They have had to rebuild a lot, though not enough. While they are doing this the Chelseas, barcelonas, etc... will get their share of top class talent.

not all good players are going to real madrid no, the players that are going there are good players but are going there for the life style and money more than success, if a player wants to succeed, which they generally do then they will go to different clubs, therefore meaning that not all good players are going to real madrid

No. There are plenty of good players elsewhere. I do not think Real will win their league title nor the Champions cup. Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona have better players

I don't think, where do you kept others clubs like Chelsy that buy Shevchenko,M-Obi,M-Blacke and others fantastic players. And when we move to Arsenal F.C players like Rosicky,T-Walcott, T-Henry,C-FABREGAS And others footy players you can even said R-Madrid has no good players.
Or do yo mean that old players that the club buy (F-Cannavaro,Cassano,Emerson and others) are the good players. Please change your thinking.

They are a great team - but no longer the biggest team of the moment that they were a few years ago. Sadly that is now either Barca or Cheski
