I used to be size 18/20 - I made a point of not looking in the mirrors. I'd consciously turn my head away.
Then I lost a lot of weight.
At size 6 I became to look in every mirror, because it always took me be surprise how much better I looked. And boy, was I preening!
But then I got used to it and now I think I should lose more weight, my hair is a mess, I don't know how to put my make up on, so I look a mess.
I think inside I'm still a fat girl, so I don't look in mirrors anymore. My inside dictates how I perceive myself, and if I feel ugly or invisible, I don't want to confirm it by seeing my reflection.
And by the way, I'm quite a looker on the outside now - the reason I know is the reaction men have when I walk by.

I wouldn't say that i would look in a reflective window that shows an image of myself, but if it is a mirror in a bathroom i always do. I will pull out a mirror to make sure that I look ok too. If you don't look in a mirror it may just show that you don't even know there is a mirror, or maybe you don't want other people seeing you look in a mirror because you might think it is cocky or something?

I always look! Cause I got to see if I messed up my hair or something! To keep it simple, I ALWAYS look @ the mirror!

Mirror, tall glass windows, just about anything that I can see myself in. It's not vanity, it's just a desire to see myself from the perspective of another person.

what if ur hair is messed up
and if u didnt know people would be like..ur messed up and thatd be embarrasing.. or like..what if somehting about u got messed up liek..u need to fix it
