Yes! He'll throw 3 TDs against the Dolphins en route to another Steeler victory. Pitt wins, 28-17.

Being a huge Steelers fan I would yes but what I am worried about is Batch's state of mind. Everyone in the NFL world is thinking that the Steelers can't beat Miami because Ben's out and it makes Charlie want to try so hard to prove them wrong. However, I don't want Batch so engrossed in that thought process that he tries too hard and makes mental errors. Culpepper will look good but I think in the end, the Steelers win this because they are a very resilient team and they have to show the NFL that the SB XL champs are ready to defend their championship. Besides they seem to have so much going against them (usually lose at home, lose on first game, Ben out,, etc) that they will come out strong. Pitt 20 Miami 16

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha i'm a Lions fan, so regrettably I even have first hand awareness on Charlie Batch and the respond is an emphatic NO way!!! 1st off, it is so stressful for a team to repeat because of the fact of extreme expectancies, great Bowl lull after the win, and anybody is gunning for them. confident, NE went back-to-back, yet after their 1st SB win against the Rams, they didnt even make it back to the playoffs. i've got faith it is the previous 5 or 6 great Bowl losers have not even made it back to the playoffs right here twelve months, so as that basically shows how stressful this is to repeat the fulfillment of the previous season. additionally, The Bus became into the religious chief of that team. The Steelers have been so centred on getting Jerome a win in his fatherland, that they got here out lots looser then the Seahawks. btw, it wasnt a Harley, it became right into a Haibusa, the quickest, highway-criminal produced crotch rocket on the roads.

Charlie is capable but he is not going to carry the Steelers. If the Steelers win with Charlie it will be because he doesn't make any serious mistakes and other team members carry the team. I think the Dolphins are improving and could win this Thursday's matchup. Hines Ward, if available, could tip the scales in favor of the Steelers. For the sake of Steelers fans I hope Big Ben is back in the lineup soon.

I think so, last year when he started twice, he won both times. But for the Steelers to win, they have to run the ball, Batch has to be on his game, and the defense has to the them down.
I am a huge Steeler fan so lets go Steelers!

Yes I do. Charlie has only started twice for Pittsburgh, but won both games. He started 46 times for the Detroit Lions. The only reason he didn't go on to become a starter for someone else is because he has been sidelined for many different injuries. If we didn't have him last year the Steeler's would have never made it to the SuperBowl.

This is tough for me, becuase I'm a Jets fan.
I hate both teams a lot, but I guess I hate the Dolphins more. So hopefully Batch can. But do I think so?
I dont think Charlie Batch could even carry a bag of groceries.
