You dial 1010288 first, before any other numbers, then area code, and the phone number. Good luck!

In the US you have to dial a 1 to make a long distance call. But to make an international call dial 011 UK, sonow you'v etold the phone systme you wantto call anothercountry, you idnetify the country by it scountrycode - every country has one, and The Republic of Ireland is 353 Then you dial the local number (minus any leading zeros) The number you quote starts with 00. That is the EU international access code, but since you are calling from the US you need to replace it with the US international access code 011. It is the standard to show international telephone numbers with a + (plus sign) where the international access code should be. And on mobile phones if you store phone numbers with a + and the country code, it will always work no matter where in the world you are. The countyry code for the US is 1 - clever eh?
