LOL! How many times have I heard that one! I've discoverd that they probably didn't make it IN the dryer--they either fell in between the washer & dryer, or didn't make it into the washer to begin with...check ur lint filter just to be sure.

It is the $64000 question. The single sock, you see, does not like the companion anymore so she is just sticking to something else that she likes more. A sheet perhaps and then somehow she goes bye bye altogether. However there is also a secret hole in the dryer and only socks know about it. Once they go through there no telling where they end up. Perhaps on eBay? Have you seen single socks listed?

The sock trolls sneak in through the lint trap and steal your left sock every time. How do they know the left sock from the right sock? Thats the question.
They work with the underwear gnomes, so beware.

Look in those stray, single shoes that you see on the sides of the roads. Just where do these come from? I bet the socks end up in those shoes.

they fall behind the agitator.
my mom's broke and called a repair person to come fix it. he found about 30 socks in there and said 'here's your problem'. after that, no problems.
she makes little ,round, plastic things to keep them together.

There is a black hole somewhere in the universe that draws in socks. There is nothing you can do.
