Wow, you saw the spouse cheating, in other words, you were invited to where they were having sex?!?

It appears that you have probably seen the relative in the company of another person that they are not married to. Before you go jumping to conclusions, I would suggest you speak directly with the relative you saw about the situation, not on the phone or in a letter. In this way you can use "I" statements like, "I felt really uncomfortable when I saw you kissing that man at the Shakey's last Thursday."

If they deny it, you can casually mention that the next time you see it, you will go up to the couple to confirm that you saw the right person, and you will ask how their spouse is. That should quash the blooming affair - if there is one - in the bud.

So, in other words, be very careful before you accuse someone of "cheating," and talk to them about what you think you have seen first, before telling any other relatives.

Good luck!

Be very careful here...they just could have an understanding that they have an open marriage and would be embarrassed if you knew...OR, the family member already knows and doesn't want to do anything at this time and you would be forcing their hand, OR...... whatever. And be damned sure you know what you saw. Perhaps it might be wiser to take it up with the person you saw rather than their mate...hear the other side BEFORE you do something that may cause serious trouble when none was needed. Good luck

This is a very delicate position that you find yourself in. If you tell you will most denitely cause friction between you and them. If you don't tell it will bother you till the end of days. You will also feel very guilty if the person finds out and does something drastically knowing that you could have prevented it.

Ask yourself the question. If it was your spouse doing the cheating would you like to be told about it by a family member.

Hope this helps

Good luck.

It depends on the circumstance.

If he/she was cheating because they're in a crummy relationship then probably not. Now if they were in a great relationship but were still fooling around that would be different. But rather than rat him/her out I'd probably take him/her aside and talk about it. I'd try to get the whole story before making assumptions.

No, I would not interfere in someone else's marriage. They are adults, let them sort things out themselves. People often shoot the messenger.

I hate cheaters, and cheating. I would tell, if I became aware of a cheater. No matter who it was.

I would not lie.. if someone would ask me... but no.. I would not jump up and just say it... - unless it's one of my best friend.. then I would tell her/him if I knew... and I saw with my own eyes...
