I think when your pregnant the first time your new to everything and the second time when you get pretty much the same symptoms and by that time you've forgotten how the first was so in your eyes it seems better and sometimes it all depends on the sex of the baby. No matter what the first trimester is going to be the worst when it comes to pregnancy symptoms so calm down and take it one day at a time everything will work out fine.

My first pregnancy was GREAT. I felt amazing. This time however I feel terrible. I am about 10 weeks along and my face has broken out more now than it did in high school. I can hardly eat three bites of a meal without feeling sick to my stomach. The insomnia is awful too. Not to mention the round ligament pain. If the whole pregnancy stays like this, I am stopping at 2 kids. So no, you're not alone :)

not mine, i was in far better shape the second time around. first time i was already overweight and it was a real bummer. my body fought the pregnancy every step. second time i had lost all the weight and more and was so much healthier.. i had a great 2nd pregnancy and worked in a very physical job until about a week before the baby was born.

With my second and this one I didn't have hardly any pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness or sore boobs. I do however get to be one of the lucky few that get pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. Besides that my pregnancies have been easier than the first.

I AGREE!!!! My daughter was a breeze and now baby number two has me doubting if I want a baby number 3!! I thought morning sickness was all in your head--- yea, well 12 weeks of all-day sickness has not been in my head! And I'm more achy all around with this one! Plus I've had a sublineal bleed (which turned out to be nothing serious). People have been telling me that since this one is more trouble, it must be a boy! Keep on trucking though--we've only got to make it to 40wks right?

So far my second has been easier. My first I had bleeding problems, and nausea for 8 months. This one is so easy so far, its scaring me that things are going too well. Still having symptoms but not nearly as bad as the first. Except the boobs. Woowzers those hurt.

Every pregnancy is different. My first was worse than my second.

this pregnancy is very different. Last time I felt better after I threw up , once a day. This time I am not vomiting, but am nauseous the whole entire day. My breasts were not sore last time and this time they are really sore. I am hoping that giving birth will be as easy as it was last time.

My second pregnancy is *definitely* worse than my first. More nausea, more aches and pains, more sleepy. And that's just the little stuff. I also have pregnancy-induced hypertension and am being watched for potential gestational diabetes this time around.

This is my last kid, this time, for SURE!

Good luck, hope it gets better for you!

no, my second hurt ALOT more when i was in labor, and she was 3 weeks early. The morning sickness was way worse too. I thought it was just me but a few other friends felt the same way.
