If you want someone to email you, it might be a good idea to provide them a way to do this. A good way to do that is to click your picture in Yahoo!answers and click the 'Edit your info' link. Under the 'Communications'/'Email Settings' header, check 'Allow email communications with other Yahoo! Answers users'. That will enable a mailto link on your public profile without actually displaying your email address.
