With all the screw-ups lately - do you think we will be hunting down republicans like dogs before the end of this decade? Will a single idiot from that party get elected this fall? Are you angry and ready to vote? Do you know someone who died in Iraq?

The GOP rose to power on a wave of religious intolerance and bigotry. Now, it is coming back to hurt them. I wish them luck, but no one can give me back the last 6 years of Bush's jobless recovery. Metaphorically, if not physically, I, too, see the day coming when there will be blood on the streets.

To Answer Your Question(s)

1. No, I don't think we'll be hunting down Republicans like dogs. Cooler heads will prevail. Most of the Candidates for 08 hail from the Moderate Wing of the party, i.e Giulliani, Mc Cain etc.

2. There might be the odd one or two Republican who breaks through the "throw the bums out, anti-incumbent" mood.

3. Yes, I'm ready to vote

4. No, I don't know anyone who's died in Iraq.

1. No. Liberals don't believe in guns, so the Republicans have nothing to fear.

2. Probably a close to equal number of Republican and Democratic idiots will be elected this fall.

3. Yes - but mostly angry at Democrats.

4. No, I don't. Does that mean I can't vote? Or have an opinion on the war? Is it Liberal Policy to dismiss as "illegitimate" those who aren't in lock-step with Cindy Sheehan?

The ground will stop the Republican Free Fall.

I can honestly say I wish them no ill will but I do wish they would either shut up and live in a democratically free society that recognizes social justice , like the U.S. used to be heading towards. Or move to a remote island where we can watch them fight for power and food a la Survivor.

Either way they should never be let anywhere near a seat of power and the most conservative in office should be Barack Obama.

As far as friends that died in Iraq, yes. I had several friends that were Iraqi civilians, mostly doctors and mathematicians who died from bombings and I knew several Marines who died various ways.

The USA is a REPUBLIC. FYI.

This entire thing has become clear to me. 911 was about the COMPLETE obliteration of the Republic philosophy. The Republican Party is just a loosely tied "thing" that sounds bad now, after what Bush has done to the USA. It works to their favor if you think about it.

Anyway, 911, Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, and now Iran. All about completely destroying the Republic, for which it stands.

Think about it. A Republic guarantees people freedom and power over government and what government does. A Democracy grants government complete control disguised as the will of the people.

Yep, 911 was an inside job, but the target was never oil. It is the complete annihilation of "The Republic, for which it stands."

I would bet that more will get elected that you think. There are still a lot of people who support the party. The Dems have some issues to work out also. anyone who does any reading or research can see that both parties are just trying to win votes....both parties flip on issues. Don't take a side and then find info to back up your vote. It is our job to do the research, on both sides, and then use the limited info we have to make a voting decision.

I don't know people who have died but I have had a friend wounded and he healed up and volunteered to go back. Crazy Marine...but he said that he was happy to see the people who thank the US for getting rid of Saddam. We don't see that side.

Republicans will fare well in the fall elections because the people are not ready to accept higher taxes, bigger government, and some more of the same worn out and failed ideas the Democrats offer.

Chow!!
