They are protesting and they are protesting by the thousands . What they are not doing like in the 60's is having school sit in's and things like this. You will not see any of these protests on the corporate controlled media and if you do they will paint it in a bad light . Look for Freespeech TV, look for the web sites there are many that are out there protesting this illegal war in Iraq. It is unfortunate that people like you have not seen or heard of this. But, it goes to show you how good these corporate TV people are at keeping the truth from us. Also, unlike the 60's and 70's the media is not showing pictures of dead American men and women and they do not yet have a draft. Until King George and his little yes men are out of power there will be no change.
Also, anyone that says I love the terrorists is wrong I support Afghanistan and I support the troops but they were ordered by a mad little Texas want to be into fighting a war based on lies. Where are the WMD's , where is the hard proof that Iraq had anything to do with terrorists?????

I think we saw how much good the protests did at the beginning of the war (i.e., none), so we've moved into other methods. For my part, I'm working for/giving money to Democratic candidates across the country.
Also, back in the day there was a draft, so the war was an immediate personal issue to people.

Because the young people today aren't the same drug hazed liberal retards who were vegging out in college back in "your day".
The only thing that generation gave us was some really good music, some really bad fashion sense, and a whole lot of bastard children to soak up welfare.

i am in college right now. the reason why there are no protests is because most kids are too worried about money to care about ANYTHING ELSE. and frankly that is what society has tought us to believe (because it is true, that money can solve almost all problems, not all, but almost). most of my friends are a waste of life, i am not going to lie... they watch MTV and/or ESPN all day, and are completely unawares of what is going on in the world... i am almost in support of conscription because it would force the kids to pay attention to what is going on... until it hits home, the kids are going to be apathetic.

Probably because the Soviets aren't around anymore to sponsor and finance the "peace" protests.

Perhaps they are more erudite than your generation and realize that this war is a) not Vietnam and b) not as bad as you aging hipsters make it out to be.

Only the poor are sent to die - that's why the college students aren't protesting.
