Also, what's the difference in your results? Is there a specific one for each age? Like if you're 20 do you have to wax your legs? And which one is best for arms? how can your results differ?

I personally find waxing to be the better option. Yes, there is a HUGE difference in the results you'll get. With shaving, you're legs or whatever will stay smooth for about a day before the hair starts to grow out and you get the awful stubble. Then you gotta turn around and do it all over again. It's good for an immediate fix, but not if you want good results. Plus, you run the high risk of nicking yourself and that can be painful. Not to mention dangerous if you're using an older blade or if you've shared a razor (which you should never do!).
With waxing, yeah, it'll hurt like anything for a few seconds, but that's it. You're results will typically last anywhere from 1-3 weeks. And the longer you wax, the less the hair will grow back, so the longer between treatments (a very good thing). And, after waxing for 15, 20 years, you may only have to do it once or twice a year. If you're a little unsure about doing it yourself, book an appointment at a spa, where you can get a pro to do it. They'll use hot wax, and you'll get great results. For an at home job, I'd suggest getting the strips that already have the wax on them. You just smooth on, rip off. No fussing with messy or hot wax. With the hot pot of wax, be very careful! You can (and probably will) burn yourself if you let it get too hot.
There is no specific age for when you should start either waxing or shaving. I'd leave it up to the person getting it done. Usually people start when they're around 12 or 13, any younger than that and I'd say they're just trying to act older, and don't really need it done. I would suggest almost starting off with waxing, right off the bat, just so they're used to it, and it'll save them a lot less trouble when they're older.
And there are no rules that say you HAVE to wax your legs. If you're comfortable with your legs not being hair free, go for it! Rebel a bit! No one says you have to do anything with your legs, it's just the society that we've formed that says women should be completely hair free on they're legs, bikini line and arms. I would suggest though that you do wax your bikini line, especially if you swim, just because it looks hygenic. Or, opt for boy shorts. Then no one knows the difference.
If you want to do something with your underarms, I would suggest shaving, just because it's a lot easier. I find it's kind of awkward to get the wax on and then off without a lot of mess and pain. I find it's a lot more painful than waxing your legs. Again, though, go to a pro, and they'll do a great job. You can also wax your forearms if this hair is bugging you. Don't shave it though, that'll really show when it starts to grow back in.
I hope this helped a bit. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

I prefer shaving because since I have used shaving oil from Soypete, I never have any redness or razor burn or bumps of any kind! I love it because it smells so good and keeps my legs so soft and silky because they are perfectly moisturized after I shave! You can use it for your under arms and even guys can use it! Waxing is too painful and expensive so I am partial to shaving! Here is the website to order, you will love it or he refunds your money back. Hope this helps!

Well. Shaving is so much faster and usually painless, but the hair on your legs will grow faster because when you are shaving, what you are doing is just basically "trimming" the hair. If you wax your legs, you are actually removing the entire "strand" of hair, making it take longer to grow back.

waxing last a whole alot longer then shaving, but if you're gonna get a wax it's best you go to a pro, but shaving you can do at home and last about 1 week or so!

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Unfortunately you will have to find the answer for this question yourself.

Yes-waxing lasts longer but it's also painful and can be very irritating for sensitive skin.

Shaving, on the other hand, needs to be done every few days depending on your hair growth. it can also cause skin irritation, ingrown hair and cuts if not done properly.

There are also other options for hair removal like for example sugaring or special hair removing lotions.

So explore all your options and have fun:)

waxing is better for long lasting results n more smooth finish
but as shaving is convenient i opt for that specially for arms as i cant handle the growth period to have my waxing done.

Shaving - quick/easy/do it yourself/cheap GOOD
nicks/cuts/ingrown hair/results short lived BAD

Waxing - long lasting/quick&easy(after time)/can do it yourself GOOD
ingrown hairs/can be painful/$$?/have to have stubble BAD

Depending on how much time & money you wish to spend & how high your pain threshold is will be your deciding factors.
I've had my eyebrows done - no biggie.
Like taking a band aid off an extremely hair arm.....do it quick...RRIIPP!!

waxing! it really doesn't hurt that bad, and you'll get used to it soon. if you put a warm cloth on the waxing spot beforehand, it opens up your pores and makes you hurt a lot less

Epilating is the best. Can be painful at first, but once you do it, the hair comes in finer and finer. I can go 2-3 weeks now between epilations.
